Jean Paul Gaultier Teams Up With Two Cartoon Icons

Jean Paul Gaultier has teamed up with the original pin-up girl Betty Boop and sailor boy Popeye to deliver two brand new fragrances. Today is your lucky day, because this collab is now available to purchase exclusively at Nocibé and Marionnaud perfumery chains in France. But before you go out and buy your plane ticket, wait a few weeks because you'll get a chance to grab them when they hit stores in April.

This new partnership with King Features was teased last week during Paris Fashion Week when Gaultier featured the hashtags #PopeyeLovesJPG and #BettyLovesJPG. The designs will feature two character-based labels: Classique, featuring Betty Boop, and Le Mâle for Popeye.

King Features is the home to the world's most famous comic strips, and Cathleen Titus, the Vice President and head of international licensing for the company went on to say, “We are thrilled to partner with such a creative talent. Jean Paul Gaultier truly understands our characters’ DNA and how to translate that into pitch perfect design.”

We can just tell this is going to be a match made in Heaven for our wildest dreams.
